As a local employer it’s important to be fully engaged with our local community. 

Our initiatives include working with local colleges to raise awareness of the manufacturing industry as a career choice through a National Manufacturing Day at our HQ. This gives young people a behind-the-scenes look at the world of manufacturing and the career opportunities it offers. Students take part in interactive sessions across product design and R&D, controls design and installation, and spend time getting hands-on with VES products.

Our dedicated Social & Charity Committee carry out regular initiatives involving the local community including a recent food bank donation drive for Eastleigh Basics Bank and a Xmas toy collection for Southampton Hospitals Charity.

We are also a proud sponsor of our local football club, Eastleigh FC.
