Summary

Purpose of role

To provide operational support to the Fabrication facility, through the reviewing and managing of schedules, resources and materials to achieve the delivery objectives of the facility. This role involves administrative tasks, data entry and communication with various members within the facility and our Headquarters to maintain efficient production workflows.

Description

Roles and responsibilities

Schedule Management
Monitor and review schedules escalating any upcoming concerns to your line management or manufacturing leader.
Ensure Production paperwork in processed and available for the planned manufacturing start dates.
Review system messages and schedule production and purchase orders to meet actual demand.

Resource Coordination
Manage orders for the facility to ensure material availability to meet manufacturing demand.
Monitor Work Centre resource levels to ensure they meet demand and support coordination to meet upcoming demand.
Support the coordination of outbound despatches and production of associated paperwork.

Data Entry
Maintain accurate records of production data, including inventory levels, production output, Change Note and DOR processing and Key Performance Metrics.
Update records to ensure accurate resource plans.
Raise and approve purchase orders and invoices within your authorised limits.

Communication
Act as a liaison between operations, manufacturing, stores and other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
Support the effective management and coordination of on-site maintenance for both machinery and facilities.

Admin Support
Handle administration tasks such as document preparation, meeting coordination and minute taking.
Ensure accurate records are maintained and controlled through appropriate filing systems.

Other duties will include the following:
Support the team in the execution of activities to meet all department KPIs.
Provide support where required to the HQ Operations team.
Be actively involved in stock take preparation and delivery.
Work with the Operations Team and Operations Management to improve operational systems, processes and policies in support of organisational goals to maximise effective, efficient and profitable output.
Maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies.
Assist and participate with your appraisals, provide feedback and adopt clear personal development plans.
Any other duties deemed appropriate by your line manager.
