Summary
Purpose Of Role:
The Lean Manufacturing Operative will be responsible for working safely and carrying out quality standard builds of Air Handling Units (AHU) (Ventilation) in an efficient processing manner and develop into a multi skilled operator through owning the processes of ensuring Lean principles are maintained and effective within the Manufacturing department.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the production and assembly of AHU manufacturing is efficient to the required standards of Lean Principles
- Checking components for damage and units are built to a high standard to reach the customer needs
- Ensure alignment of components and elements of build processes are in the correct order to complete a build of high standard
- Follow Standard Operating Procedure, drawings and work instructions within the time line provided and identify what is required for the activity to be completed
- Ensure components comply with quality requirements
- Carry out own quality checks on component parts and assembly AHU to completion requirements
- Prepare, control, contribute to and complete manufacturing operations
- Responsible for maintaining health and safety requirements ie. wearing correct PPE, use of equipment and tooling, safe stopping and resetting of machinery
- Maintain an organized work area is clean and tidy, ensuring safe disposal of waste
- Contribute to, develop and support improvement in the manufacturing operation using continuous improvement methods, kaizen tools, process using lean principles and problem solving tools and techniques
- Work closely with team members and reporting line to ensure escalation process through appropriate Team Leader, Supervisor, Manager should problems occur within the process
