Summary

Purpose of role

To support the successful delivery of AirDoor installations and manufacturing operations by working across both site-based and factory-based activities. The role exists to ensure AirDoor units are manufactured, installed, commissioned and handed over to the highest standards of quality, safety and professionalism. This role helps maintain workflow between manufacturing and installation, supporting delivery deadlines, resolving on-site and factory issues, and upholding AirDoor’s reputation across all customer interactions. This position is inherently flexible, requiring a combination of site work and factory work depending on business needs and project demands.

Roles and responsibilities

Installation Support - Support the installation, commissioning and on-site completion of AirDoor products in line with installation plans, RAMS and site requirements. Carry out on-site activities including unloading, positioning, fixing, sealing, testing, commissioning and handover. Represent AirDoor professionally on-site, maintaining high standards of workmanship, behaviour and communication.

Health & Safety - Follow all health & safety procedures, site rules, inductions and risk assessments at all times. Work safely both on-site and in the factory, ensuring compliance with all company standards.

Issue Management & Escalation - Identify, report and support resolution of installation or manufacturing issues. Escalate on-site risks, delays, access issues or quality concerns to the AirDoor Installation & Site Lead promptly. Escalate all manufacturing issues or quality concerns within the factory to the AirDoor Manufacturing Lead.

Quality & Commissioning - Carry out on-site quality checks and support commissioning, sign-off and documentation requirements. Assist with snagging, troubleshooting and remedial works as required.

Manufacturing Support - When not on-site, support the manufacture of AirDoor units in the factory, taking direction from the AirDoor Manufacturing Lead. Carry out tasks such as folding, assembly, testing, packing and preparation (depending on training). Work in line with SOPs, drawings and quality standards.

Team Collaboration - Work closely with both installation and manufacturing teams to support workflow and delivery priorities. Assist in shared tasks and contribute to overall team effectiveness.

Stock & Logistics - Support stock handling, material movements and preparation of tools and equipment for site work. Assist with stock counts and general stores activities when required.

Vehicles & Equipment - Drive company vehicles to and from sites where required. Maintain tools, equipment and vehicles in a clean, safe and organised condition.

Continuous Improvement - Support lean manufacturing and installation practices. Contribute to continuous improvement and standardisation of processes.

Training & Systems - Complete all required training and certifications (e.g. CSCS, IPAF, PASMA). Use company systems for job tracking, reporting and record keeping.

Other Duties - Undertake any additional duties reasonably required to support the effective operation and growth of the AirDoor function and wider business.
